Olive Wood Salt Cellar with Measuring Scoop

Hand made olive wood salt cellar with measuring scoop. The scoop is roughly 1 teaspoon, making it perfect for your kitchen counter and use in cooking. It measures ~3.75" wide and ~3" tall. The top slides outwards making it easy to access your salt or spices, and it locked into place with a strong magnet.

Each cellar is slightly different in appearance with different grain patterns. The dimensions may slightly vary, but are all roughly the same.

Care Instructions:

Hand wash with warm, soapy water, and let it completely dry. When the wood becomes dry, turning a pale color, rub down with mineral oil, allow it to sit for at least an hour, then wipe off excess oil. Mineral oil is food safe and will prevent your bowl from getting stained and cracked from being too dry. With the salt cellar, be sure to completely wipe away excess oil fro the inside so it does not affect whatever spice you have stored in it.

We recommend using butcher block mineral oil and finish. When your salt cellar is completely dried out, use mineral oil first, then use mineral oil mixed with beeswax to help seal it. If you do this regularly, your olive wood will last longer and keep its great look.
